They provide a couple with the Tim and it's part of their demo video on YouTube. Seems to work well

"Slimmed down" Titans rumored to hit the market in the next months.

Less VRAM and clock at a cheaper price point.

I know man. I'm just saying the video their company has on YouTube shows them using the provided q tip which just kind of paints it on there. It's not like silicone based Tim where the pressure would spread it evenly or use a credit card to smear it on. Blue did you find that is was more liquid than the traditional Tim? In retrospect would u have used the q tips? Mine came in today. Going to RadioShack to get raped on some as5.

Its a very weird texture, I don't know how to explain it. Its VERY difficult to clean.

I didn't get a q tip with mine, so I used the syringe to spread it out

After reapplying TIM, my temps at stock never go past 47C in prime.

Almost cut the temps in half from the first go-round

damn man. coyote helped me with my oc tonight. at 1.22Vcore I am stable at 4.1 with average temps of 60, 69, 68, and 67 at full load. Am going to see how much more multiplier I can pull off with this voltage. if the coollaboratory really cut your temps in half I will delid. I have all the stuff to do it. Just trying to see if its worth it.

When I had my old 3570k, I had it stable at 4.4 at 1.214v.

My temps were high 60s, low 70s

is said 3570k the one you delidded? is your new cpu you delidded a 3570k? You're saying that the delidding made a 20 plus degree difference?

Basically I have seen where the delidding makes a world of difference but that has been people that have a core at30 degrees higher than others of some just stupid high temps at low voltages. I want to know if you think delidding it will be worth voiding the warranty. Like I said, I already made the investment but if YOU don't think it is worth it as someone who has done it then I will rethink it.

just did one hour linpack on 4.2 with 0 errors. same temps obviously. on to 4.3.

Now on to an external headphone amp...

Blue you know you can put PCI-E x1 in a 2.0 or 3.0 slot?

It just uses the first few pins.

for you blue

At 1.22 I really think you will get 4.3 stable,

You are at fixed voltages so your heat really won't change with upping core clock.

You know you don't HAVE to buy them... This is a safe place with people that care about you...

No I do. These reference cards will still hold resale value but will probably need to buy more blocks. That is the only problem.

I honestly would like the same core but with 4GB of VRAM. Would be easier to OC and also would be cheaper.

Oh it's 4.3 stable for an hour of linpack. Temps the same as expected. Problem is when I blend temps avg 75 and touch 77 on the hardest sets. I'm not comfortable doing an 8 hour run at those temps.
It booted and ran linpack at 1.21 for 30 minutes. Still getting a little variation in vcore. Like at 1.21 occt read vcore as 1.2 while hw monitor read as 1.216. Dropping llc wasn't the answer so I'm guessing its a function of the power delivery of the mobo. At 1.21 the temps were a shade better in occt but I fear will still be mid 70s in prime. Plan of attack is to see if I can drop voltage to 1.205 in bios and be 4.3 stable in occt and prime with temps not past 75 on any core. I want to fully explore the thermal performance as it stands before I delid so I will have a good idea if it made a difference.

And I wouldn't do an 8hr bleed at those temps.. But they aren't dangerous.

You won't hit 70in games and IMO stable at 1hr is stable. You aren't getting stable to compute 24/7.
