That’s essentially what it was. A giant, fast as frick, sickle weasel.

Yeah it actually killed me 3 or so times IIRC.

In general the non-humanoid bosses were much tougher compared to the humanoid bosses. I found the humanoid bosses to be gigantic pushovers compared to Nioh 1, where they could be pretty challenging.

The boar guy with the dual axes is one of the most bullshite, unfair bosses I've ever fought. Of course they patched him to be a joke after I 100%d the game

I'm sure I got him post nerf. I didn't play Nioh 2 until almost 2 months after it came out. I killed him fairly easily, think in 2-3 tries and then I saw him at the top of all the "hardest boss" lists and was confused. Wish I coulda had a shot at him pre-nerf.

Just finished region 2. Region 1’s bosses were way harder than region 2’s. Specifically the snake boss and Enera gave me so much trouble until I finally learned to use the controls properly.

I know everyone is currently obsessed with GoT, but is anyone excited for the first DLC to drop on Friday?

Odd that aside from the one video of the new weapon, not too many details have been released. I'm assuming that in addition to the new DLC region, we'll get:
1. A new NG cycle
2. Increased stat/level caps
3. The ability to level up guardian spirits
4. Ethereal gear
5. New new armor sets
6. Some form of an Abyss

Very curious to see what else we might get. Would love to get some new stats made available (e.g. TWDx2), but I doubt it.

Patch 1.11 dropped in preparation for the DLC (which I believe should be available in the US at 9pm EST tonight).

They nerfed Honda BIG TIME. Went from like a 28% active skill boost to like 7%.

They also added a few Ninjutsu skills. They're just upgraded versions of the current feathers skills.

That's all I've noticed from Patch 1.11, but people are talking about new DLC finds on the Nioh reddit page (including new picture scroll missions).

I actually haven't even touched the DLC. I'm working my way through DotD and it's pretty rough with a ninjutsu (mostly throwing) build. They really need to buff throwing damage in DotD to make it viable or at least add TWD x 2 into the temper/inheritable pool.

Also, because of how revenant trading was changed, it's a huge pain in the arse to make new min/max builds. I was going to put together a poison dual sword build for DotD but it takes way too long now.
