Nintendo switch

Looking for a Nintendo switch in the BR area and it appears everyone is sold out. I understand why, but does anyone have any insight as to when I can expect a new batch to come in? I am wanting to buy one for my sons birthday coming up next month.
Update: I was able to reserve one on Best Buy’s expected shipment this week. I refreshed it last night and it all of a sudden went from “out of stock” to check out. Not sure if I lucked up or this is a glitch. They charged my card and sent a confirmation email that it will be ready by Friday 4/3.

They really shouldn't be sold out everywhere, unless the corona bullshite is causing it.
Did you check all the big box stores? WalMart, Target, Best Buy, etc.
There's also still GameStop.
You can probably also buy them brand new on Amazon I'd imagine as well.

Crazy, but yeah they are sold out everywhere. Some people are selling them on eBay/amazon, but for well above msrp.

They are. Like literally everywhere. I had to drive to a best buy 35 miles away to get the last one they had.
OP - You're gonna have to just keep checking sporadically throughout the day and you may have to drive a bit to get it. There seems to be plenty of Switch Lights but if you really want a normal switch I wouldn't settle.

It makes sense I guess, if people think they are going to be locked up in their homes for the next few weeks or months, video games are going to be one of the best ways to kill the time.
I had heard that was one major reason why GameStop was so hesitant to shut down as well, they were actually seeing a spike in sales.

I got lucky and walked into Walmart while they were stocking the shelf.
As for Amazon - they are only stocking essential items, so things like Switches aren't essential.
My first switch I got, I just called around to places all throughout the day every day until I found one, you might end up having to do the same thing.

Try Sam's Club in the store. Just got one last Sunday. Their app will say out of stock but I found a great deal at my local one. 350 bucks for the switch, carrying case, an extra controller, a comfort grip for the joycon, and a car charger. After taxes came to ~370.
When I grabbed the piece of paper I thought no way they had them this had to be a mistake but when I got up to the cashier she knew they were hard to find. She sold two of them the day before and they still had 13 up stairs.

Really appreciate the heads up. Will definitely give this a shot. Also going to try Costco as I know they sold a similar bundle at one point.

I'm in Arizona, but I got an extra Switch if you want to haggle. Pretty much brand new; daughter played BOTW on it, then it sat on my shelf for the last two years. I'll even throw in BOTW and a pro controller since I have an extra of those, too. PM me. Rather sell this for a fair price than watch someone get ripped off during these crazy times.

Thinking of picking one up in the next few days. Looks like everyone is wiped out. Anyone see any anywhere other than Sam's? I'm a costco person and they're out.
