Looks like P99 with all the skins (p99 does not have frogs or beast). If you want an EQ remake try Pantheon.

I was clean and sober for 10 years but recently relapsed. Teek is one awesome server. Really love getting my hands on those no-drop items that were previously unavailable to me.

No way I play this Legends bullshite.

I was just reading a little on their Discord, the suggestion thread about allowing pets for each pet class (like a BST/Necro/Mage having 3 pets at once, one from each class) and allowing them to be upgraded via gear bags (like THJ did) was shut down due to the "suggestion threads being for suggestions, not comparing to other games" or something very similar.

The more I read Daybreak responses, the more certain I am this thing will fail.

EverQuest Legends features a $19.99 base game price (which includes your first month of subscription time). After the first month, the subscription costs $9.99 per month. Note that standard Daybreak Games All Access passes do not cover this.

I would have at least tried it out, I have a lifetime All Access Pass.

I watched a Broken Stoic video the other day on pets and at least in that they veered quite a bit from the TH version they are (somewhat) trying to emulate.

It doesn't matter what your classes are, you get only one pet (in THJ you could have one for each class if all three were pet classes, and I think there was a way to get 4th but not sure on that). Instead, the amount and type of pet classes in your 3-class build determines how many inventory/gear slots your pet gets. It uses ratio to determine the best gear and weapons to use from its inventory (like if you have multiple chest pieces in the inventory for some reason) and the different types of pets can have different abilities/spells while also they are all considered at least as warriors (and their Berserk skill is craptacular).

They have some neat ideas (like combining same gear pieces to level it up, for example) but not enough to lure my subscription dollars out of my wallet, especially in how they sued the THJ guys then took their ideas to capitalize on their weaker version of what they had created.

Had they just hired them and gave them the resources to continue making their very fun version, I probably would have subbed.

I'm playing the open Beta, had to give it a shot. I'm enjoying it. Currently running a Bard, SK, BST trio and just got to Lower Guk. It's nice that you don't have to spend hours to level. Great for me since I can only play an hour or two at a time. I did get a Druid to level 23 for the teleport spells which turned out to be a great idea.

I never played THJ.

I will not get sucked in! I ran three accounts, pet classes in the original. Epic quests were a bitch if you didn't have a strong guild. I did like doing the Beastlord quest.

I was on The Rathe same as Bard, I listened in when the Zek severers took down the Sleeper.

The last Rot server. The council sucked.

If the difficulty is the same as THJ, you should be able to solo at least the 1.0 epics. I know this version is a little different, but the ability to spawn your own instance of any zone is a yuuuuuuuuge benefit in doing epics.
