I had a good week with this guy. Hope he commits prior to the offseason. I'd like to see how his measurables stack up against GP's stud RB recruit.
On a side note - my team is very much looking forward to the trip out west in week 14 in the hopes of shattering Cal's near 50 game home win streak.

It's the first time I've ever tried to intentionally lock myself out. Pretty good results, but I think a big part of it was lucky timing. If I hadn't had my recruiting arse handed to me the prior two weeks, there's no way it would have worked. Besides, it isn't a done deal yet.
My class is inexplicably small, so I need this dude bad.

I'm most likely gonna pull in a 72 ovr4* scat back. Not to bad for where I'm at I don't think.

The best RB I've ever had in this game - the white boy I had at UCLA for those around long enough to remember - started as a 71 ovr. He had speed, agi, and acc but little else. He was just one of those guys you get every once in awhile that seems to outperform their ratings.
Was an absolute 99 ovr monster by the time he was done.

Yeah that 5 star guy you got I thought about going after earlier in the season, but when I saw his speed was 84 I backed off a bit and when I saw you gained a substantial lead I just stopped recruiting him entirely.

My goal with that guy is to red shirt him and see if he can play FB as the dive man in the triple option. I only run a handful of formations that have a FB anyway.
A guy with 84 speed will not play RB for me. Way too slow.

Really sucks that you can't turn guys like that into linebackers or wideouts into db's and vice versa.same with lineman

Used my restart. I was the best man in a wedding in Nola last night...let's say the first half was sluggish to say the least. It was 17-7 at halftime, GT was winning.
The restart did not go nearly as well for them. I won 56-20. I gave up a semi-late TD drive and allowed them to get 80 yards they really shouldn't have. I tried some new formations and switching my formations up more than normal. Lots of times against the computer I get lazy and don't like to switch in between formations so I literally just go down the list. This game I was going from Shotgun to I-Form to Ace to Wildcat to Shotgun 5-wide then Shotgun 2 RB's. It didn't result in the normal amount of yards I've been getting lately, but I felt as though my plays were more impactful as a whole.

Has anyone ever had the problem with certain formations not being available when you load a custom playbook. In the last game I played I couldn't load any special teams or goaline formations on offense or defense.

My guy seems a touch shiftier, your guy seems a little stronger, with much better trucking and strength. Gonna be two bad dudes in another season or two.
