I had a very strange game last night. Virginia Tech throws many unorthodox defenses at you so they're a bit strange to face. Lots of 2-4-5, 3-3-5, even a few 1-5-5. My starter and preseason All American Hale was pretty shitty. I believe he ended like 16/30 with 2 ints. Some were my fault, some were great plays by VT, some were bad plays by him. But my back up threw 3 passes...for nearly 130 yards and 2 td's. I don't stretch the field a ton on deep balls, but when I threw them last night Hale was awful and my backup Strong made it rain.
I like to play my backup occasionally because he's a RS Senior that is a 94 overall, and I feel bad he doesn't play more. He'd be starting at many schools.

BUTT: Sometimes, I think the cpu has an agenda to stop certain things and when you make a change, I believe it effects the way that the cpu plays against you.
Game Summary
My game against Minnesota wasn`t very close from the beginning. I believe I was up 35-3 at the half. I had a couple of recruits visiting and one wanted my RB to rush for 100 yards, so that helped slow down my offensive production in the second half.
Minnesota was able to give my running game fits. That has been the case most of the year for me though. I can`t fully explain it, but running the ball has been a task for me this season. I have played multiple guys at RB and QB this season to give my guys some rest and see what I`ll be working with next season. No matter what I`ve done at RB, it hasn`t changed much from game to game, because I still can`t run the damn ball effectively.
The defense is getting a little better. My true freshman DE Maurice Torres is creating pressure, that is resulting in turnovers, yet I still give up way too many yards passing.
Final Score 58-27

How is your Oline? Maybe that's why your having trouble running it, but Considering your at Ohio state I'd think you'd have a solid line.

My o-line could be better.

Minnesota was a pain in the arse for me to run on as well.

I only won by 4 but game was never really close. Like you mentioned earlier about getting the rushing yards for your visit, I needed to get 100 rushing yards, plus the 250 yards passing and 100 of those to the tight end. The one I didn't do that's always hard for me is getting the int's and deflections for dbacks bonus points. I only got 2 sacks so I missed those points for the dline as well.

6 deflections & 2 ints this week for my stud recruit visit.
It's always the hardest one for me as well. In the second half I was all pass coverage no rush trying to get an INT.

I was up by 12 with a minute and a half to go, and kicked off hoping to get the 2 more deflections I needed. Figured the cpu had that drive and one more so it was possible, so I go heavy zone coverage out of the dime. Stupid fricker runs the ball on me, just marches down the field but kills the clock and punches it in with 4 seconds on the clock, only went hurry up twice. Then decided to go for 2. I was pissed

WILDA, I will be a tad upset if you get that recruit this week.

He's got a visit scheduled next week, so I don't anticipate a commit.
To go from 2200 down to a commitment in one week would be pretty epic.
I'm getting 850 for the visit, plus all visit bonus points, the near 1100 points that I'm applying (plus recruit bonus) plus the unlock points.

Peaster and GP playing tonight?

I played last night. I find the CPU is very difficult to run on this year. Luckily my QB had a perfect game. 100% completion percentage

Nothing to be ashamed of. Sounds like you had a salty squad.
