The lag is unusual. We normally have pretty well connected games... My DBs haven't played this well all year.

That was the worst game I have ever played I believe. Your defense was unbelievable and I couldn't do anything.

We both had Kick returns for TD's and that is all I can say that was good for me.

Don't know how you do it, but you are good at it. ( defense)

Congrats./

Final 42-7. Turnovers are pretty much the only story to this game. I mean I don't even think I had 200 yards by the time I had 42 points. You just gave me too many easy opportunities to score.

Granted my DBs played well that game. They actually caught the damn ball for once this season. A few of those passes probably would have been better off just thrown into the bleachers though. Mainly the first and last pics.

I wish I had a mic or something so I could talk you through some of my thought process on offense and defense. Pre-snap positioning and decisions are half the battle. There are ways to exploit my 3-4 defense that Peaster, PC, and especially Wilda have taken advantage of in the past.

I'm typically a better 2nd half team because I am good at adjusting to how my opponents take advantage of my defense.

Yes they should've. The problem was by the time you try to press the button I was getting sacked. The button to throw a pass seems to be more sensitive than the one to throw the ball away.

The last one didn't really matter the game was out of reach at that point.

Tried to run and couldn't, barely got any passing yards. I don't know what settings you have your defense on, but it must be very agressive or your team just likes to play big games against me.

Wilda probably can't go tonight. Tomorrow night around 9 or Saturday anytime.

If something changes for tonight I will let you know.

Do you guys have any advice on moving to a 3-4 defense? Is it possible to move my DTs to DE or will they suck?

Plenty experience with a 3-4 .

No they won't suck. I wish size actually mattered more than it does. A 230 lb DE can hold his own just as well as a 280 lb DE just as long as his stats are the same. Even still, I try to go for as big of DTs as I possibly can to take up space, and I like to recruit big DEs as well. I still run 4 DLinemen often against 3/4WR sets, so I still like DEs that can rush the passer. If they are both huge and great pass rushers (like my 2 current DEs Myles Garrett and Aaronn Bentley, who will both be missed next year) then it's even better.

There are 2 main things with a 3-4 that you need to make sure you are mindful of:

1)Even though there is only one position on the depth chart, you have to remember that 2 of your MLBs will start so you should probably keep at least 4 of them on your roster at all times.

2)When you go to nickel and dime packages, your OLBs will automatically slide into the outside down linemen in the base package. Most of the time you are better off doing one of two things. I either switch the personnel so that my DEs are on the line rather than my OLBs or I change the base formation to 3 downlinemen. So rather than a 2-4 nickel I change to a 3-3... In the real world, OLBs would be better pass rushers but in the game that's rarely the case. You are better off with your DEs in there because they can rush the passer better and hold up to the run better.

Hope that helps . I'm pretty much the only person I know that runs a 3-4 but it works for me and I like it alot.

Thanks. I figure I'll have to use a lot of formation subs to get the right looks to not sacrifice pass rushing ability for run stopping and vice-versa. I think I've figured out how to give 4-3 looks from 3-4 so maybe I'm good. Just need to get the right personnel. I hope the WDEs I recruited fit well as 3-4 rush LBs but I think the game will screw me due to their inability to cover. I guess it'll be trial by fire

Yeah, probably so. I've found that in this game it is much easier to convert LBs to DEs then the other way around

I play a base 335, and I tend to recruit speed over size. I look for big LB's that I can make DE's, OLB's to move inside, big SS to make OLB's.

I don't always get these guys, but that's what I'm looking for. I love me a 6'3" 220 lb SS. That's an OLB for me all day long if I can get him.

I probably position change about 1-2 of these guys a season, so it's not as easy as I described.
