What are the issues y'all are having with the sliders? I'm curious to know if we are all having the same concerns or if they are different.

These are the ones I think:
Human/CPU QB ACC needs to bump down

CPU run blocking down

CPU pass protection up

Human kickoff power down

Just my thoughts...

Guys - I'm going out of town Wednesday, and won't return until Sunday evening. If we don't advance quickly through this week, I won't be able to play until Sunday night. I'm not demanding a quick advance - just letting everybody know.

If we advance too late for GP and I to play before I leave, I also am fine with being on auto so as to not hold up the league.

User OL Blocking/Blocking needs to be turned up for sure, So sick of having lanes with a lead blocker and he just runs right by his block. Nothing pisses me off more. Also much of what Peaster said

CPU run blocking down

This I can get on board with.

I don't know - Brandon Harris is completing about 85% of his passes. Seems legit.

CPU pass protection up

I never get anywhere near the CPU QB. Ever.

TN for some reason I have found that TEs block better than FBs. Why? I have no idea

That and the Left Tackles on lead blocks off of read option plays. They just let players go right by. But I agree, TEs are better than FBs. This game has weird ways.

There is nothing like a blitzer being bypassed by a tackle, tight end, and fullback on a read option... Now that'll piss you off

Oh shite, didn't know that was next week. This could potentially be one of our highest anticipated matchups in a while. I have been playing really well in my user games in this league lately, but the last few times I have played you it hasn't ended well for me.

If we can't play before Wednesday, I am fine waiting till Sunday

Screen passes are the worst. I can have 2 lead blockers ahead of me, and they both just run aimlessly and a bunch of defenders end up running straight by them and tackling me for a loss

I agree with this. With my emphasis on the ground game, screen passes are a big deal to me and they are not nearly effective enough to use regularly because of blocking failure.

I am okay with this. My QB can make some ridiculous throws in tight windows. Its funny how he can put the ball exactly where he wants to every time, unless its a deep ball where its either 10 feet past the WR or way too short and gets picked off.

CPU run blocking down

I don't think its that bad. I think it will make playing defense too easy if this is brought down.

CPU pass protection up

I have 2 incredible DEs, and even then I only get to the QB when I send 6 or 7 guys. But its okay with me if this is brought up.

quote:

Human kickoff power down

I agree with this. Not so bad now, but this will be more and more evident as we all get better kickers and then there will be no such thing as a kick return in user games.

Agree, I find it difficult as hell to get to the QB with just my D Line. And I have some very nice DEs.

I'm the same, I don't know how some people do it.

The only way I get pressure with just my DL is if I am controlling my best DE and I successfully beat the OT which happens like once a game max.

My DEs can get some pressure on their own against users though

I have one or two guys that should be getting sacks, but it doesn`t happen.I would expect at least two sacks a game as a team would be realistic.

I can`t get around the end on running plays, for lack of blocking. Including screen plays

The accuracy of the CPU QB is completely exagerrated.

Kicking power of the CPU is also too high. I average 2 returns a game out of my endzone. The rest of those go through the endzone for touchback.

The cpu run block is pretty tough, but it doesn`t bother me nearly as much as the QB accuracy.

I plan on doing some looking around this week, when I feel like digging something up on the sliders. If and when I make changes I will let everyone know, so there won`t be any surprises.

This is the biggest issue I have - even more than the lack of human run-blocking. It is routine for the CPU QB to go 225-27 for 400 yds on me.

I've got some great returners that sometimes get 1 or 2 returns per game because of this. I want to get these guys more touches.
