there was an option to just randomize the seeds. thats what i did. i think the reason had automatic bids is because of the amount of players there were available.

Are those teams official? Didnt realize we were picking teams yet.
I don't think teams should be picked until the bracket is full. Late comers will be hard to find when they realize they don't have a shot at one of the top guns.
Or better yet, a good rule would be you can't use the same team twice. If I would be Oregon and I lost with them the first round because their defense isn't strong enough for me, then let me use Florida in the second round.

you can pick if you want. i figured everyone would want a week of playing time before they would pick though.

I agree with this.
I say you pick from a hat to get who picks 1st, 2nd, 3rd.. ect.

Are FCS teams back in this year?
They haven't been in this game in many years.

you want in, i might just open it back up until release?
Posted on 6/17/11 at 1:50 pm to finchmeister08
Sure, but if it comes down to an odd number I'd bow out. How are teams being picked? First come kinda deal?
Posted on 6/17/11 at 1:55 pm to lsutigertalk
well, i initially thought people would want to play the game and get a feel for the teams, then pick. but some are picking now. as for odd numbers, i wouldn't worry about it. there's plenty of games to be played now. not to mention we're leaning towards the double elimination. i figured a prize would want people to participate more. i considered 20 psn dollars for ps store. i got battle: los angelos during lunch on blu ray so i may give the Resistance 3 beta out along with the 20 psn bucks.

Sounds good, do you know if the rosters with stats are anywhere? Because I can almost pick my team by looking at player stats, I would know which team fits my style from that.
