NBA2k21 is such trash.

Got this game for free from Epic Games Store. It is my first NBA 2k in a few years because I felt the quality was dropping, but man is it worse than I ever expected now.

The AI on the help defense is absolute arse. The transition D makes no sense. My opponents never miss a FT. I had 5 games where the other team hit 100% of their FTs...even Ben Simmons.

But my biggest gripe is definitely with the MyPlayer mode which used to be by far my favorite. The fact this mode which should be the bread and butter of the offline modes is so reliant on the online area is such arse. To the point where your character is brutally flawed even when you max out their stats.

You can never have as many badges as the other stars in the NBA. Even maxed out, your overall says 99 but it is really only an 85 or 86 if you put those same stats in a created player . The reason - they want balance in the fricking dumbass multiplayer mode. frick that.

My player is so fricking slow, can't shoot worth shite, is a 63 overall Center and yet got taken 2nd overall in the draft.

Here is the worst part, I worked out for the Pelicans but didn't think they would pick me. Not only did they pick me, they also picked another center 1st overall. So they somehow got the #1 and #2 pick and used both picks on Centers .

And they gave up nothing for the picks apparently. The roster is exactly the same except with 2 extra centers. They even somehow still drafted Kira Lewis at 14. I am literally the 5th best Center on the roster but get almost as many minutes as Stephen Adams and guys like Jaxon Hayes get 0 minutes. I can somehow still score 11pts a game in an NBA game despite being an absolute unathletic slop just because the defensive rotations in this game are such arse. I can set a screen...wait for the defender to help and the basket is literally wide open for a layup (my fricking 6'11" center can't even dunk).

I also looked into making a SF like a Luka type, but it is impossible with the current system because you can only get a max of 17 badges if you want his playmaking and shooting ability... 17 badges. Luka has 45 and usually has 50+ by year 3 and you are capped at 17

TL;DR - 2k's reliance on idiots spending money on the online shite made the offline modes complete arse.
