did you have trouble getting it installed? I got the pre-order bundle that allows your to DL at 9/25/15 12:01AM EST. And usually my Xbox would already have had the game installed. I check this morning and it's "Queued". I try to restart the installation. Same thing. I restarted my XBONE. Same thing. I left it on, hoping it would work itself out before I got home today.

yep. as a part of the story you have to chose one of the 10 schools listed (licensed):
Arizona
Kansas
Georgetown
UCLA
Michigan
Louisville
Texas
Villanova
UConn
you will then play a few games with those teams on their courts and in their uniforms.

Haven't started myplayer yet, but the gameplay feels a lot better to me. It looks a lot better too. Feels like they improved it a lot over past years.
