It has to be Rondo for the Celtics, right?
I wonder if they will cast his passive aggressive speech patterns correctly.

I can't wait to try this out tomorrow. Kyle Korver will take me to the ship.

As long as Eric Bledsoe doesn't ask me to team up after I take his spot again, I'm fine.

Here's my first impressions
Disclaimer: this is thru the team workout practice and 2 games where I probably totaled 15 minutes of play.
Disappointments:
- same hairstyles; still very limited
- same tattoos
- a lot of the same team gear (Pelicans are identical to 2K14)
- still can't wear different length socks :-(
- the new voice is shitty (he mumbles); old voice is, well....the old voice.
- when I change the gameplay setting to show all plays on offense with the visualizer. it still doesn't save the setting -_-
Noticed Changes:
- you upgrade sets of attributes. for example: athleticism (standing dunk, driving dunk, vertical, stamina, speed, quickness, strength, hustle). So there's good and bad here. Bad, maybe you don't want to upgrade everything at once and just want your VC spent on one attribute. Like, maybe you just want to start by being a 3pt specialist and spend most of your money on that early on. Good, bundles seem to be a lot cheaper. I had 15k VC for pre-ordering and I got my athleticism, defense, and rebounder sets all to level 4. My guy is a level 69 just from that.
- your mentor, coach, and other teammates, actually talk to you, they have voices this year. niiiice.
- the menu is much cleaner, easier to navigate, and makes more sense. It's almost the identical options, so you won't be lost going thru it if you played previous versions.
- gameplay is soo much smoother. I can't highlight or emphasize this enough. this is what 2K14 was meant to be like. It's drastically more fluid and life like. Far less animation glitches.
- seems to be more depth to MyPlayer. More thought out cutscenes, interactions with mentor and coaches, etc.
- you start out on Pro. So making the team off of your list you want, isn't going to be that difficult. especially if all you have to get is a B- and below. I as an awkward slow 7'1" 245lb center basically set screens, rebounded, boxed out, and played defense and got a B in the workout. And I saw some good teams on the list looking for a big, so it's not like you have to go to a shitty team this year. I saw the Rockets, Wizards, Lakers, Suns, Hornets, Heat, and OKC on my list all under an A.
- Now once I bumped up the difficulty to SuperStar on my first game, haha. I noticed the difference. First game I had 3 points, 5 boards, and 1 block. 2nd: 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
- the coach who's your friend and gives halftime speeches has a aggravating lisp. drives me crazy already.
- cheerleaders are banging. "Tiny" is definitely gonna be bottoming out that hot Asian one in the front row. Nahhhhh wha I'm saying?

quote:The Pelicans were the easiest team to dynasty, with AD/Holiday/Evans/Gordon, by season 4, you'd have the best team on paper. And in season 1, I'd usually get a top 4 seed, and that's simming all regular season games.
wonder if there will be an app this year where you can collect daily VC
But I never would pay attention to the owner demands and wishlists so I'd always get fired...until I accumulated enough VC through the app to just buy the team myself.

Yeah, this wait is awful. Only two more hours, two more hours

What do you guys think of going undrafted in my player mode? I guess picking your team is cool...but part of the fun for me was always getting selected by a random team and just playing the card that I was dealt.
