Went ahead and just started playing offline instead of worrying about server issues. Tried to get on with the Pels but bombed the tryout so I had to settle for the Magic. I think we lose every game by an average of about 40 points.

Last night I tried to connect to the servers for the 1st time but couldn't get on.
I wasn't sure if that was a global issue, or just me.

I haven't started my career yet. So from what I see, you always start as an undrafted free agent and have to make a team through a tryout and/or 10 day contract? You don't do the combine game like the past few years?

I gotcha. From what I see, the off the court interactions seem to pretty good, though. I loved all of that last year, then got traded in my rookie season and they didn't do any of them with my new team.

There is a section in the my career menu that is something like
The park/cutscenes

They let you choose a different look for home and away finally this year, which is pretty cool
