And I'm so goddamn tired of giving my team the lead in the 3rd, not playing the 4th and losing.

Yep having the same problem with the servers/changing my player's appearance. After taking 3 hours for it to download off of the hard copy. Not impressed so far

The game is great. The servers... far from it. Same shite happened last year.

I wish they'd at least use Microsoft's Azure servers for us on the Xbone

Apparently they have ripped a bunch of people off for their money with VC either disappearing or just not being put on their account, but having to pay for it. This is terrible how bad this has been. Hopefully live steps up and i will be switching back. I used to prefer live over 2k back in the day and if they continue to shite on us i will go back!

I think the release of NBA 2K15 and DriveClub have basically sealed the deal for me. I will no longer by titles on release day because 99.9% of the fricking games don't work online out of the box. It's absolutely unacceptable for this to be a constant ongoing issue. You would think after 3 years in a row of shitty server issues, 2K would know to prepare for the load. There's no way that they test their online product. Had they tested everything, they would have seen just how incredibly broken The Park is. Don't even get me started on DriveClub. What an absolute clusterfrick.

Yeah I'm sure the game is great but it doesn't matter when I spend time customizing my player only to be kicked from the 2K servers and then have my player transformed into an Indian guy with dreadlocks and a mouth like Benjamin Buford Blue

That's why I tend to stay away from online modes just in full. I can get more enjoyment from a sports game with a good slider set than I can playing cheesing players online. Plus, I like the more in-depth things like MyPlayer or running a franchise (MyGM is just a little too much for me)

Gameplay wise, this is easily my favorite sports game so far. You just feel like everyone plays like their real-life counterpart. When you can get me to pause a game and make me go "Did that really just happen?" You're doing something right

This!

I used to play all sports title online only. But with getting older and having kids running around sometimes, it's easier to play at my own pace offline.

I also had an NCAA football league I was in that was very, very active in all kinds of titles, so it was easy to find good, straight players to play online as opposed to the random cheesy games. But now that NCAA is done, most of those guys don't play as much, so i stick with offline franchise modes.

Bought yesterday but haven't played it. Seems like most of the problems are server related. I don't play online so that doesn't bother me. Any issues with the offline game modes?

Only problem I had was that it took forever to download, even though I had a hard copy of the game.

Welcome to the new wonder of offline gaming! It doesn't matter if you're playing your offline game, it needs to be attached to the internet so they can monitor your usage and give you VC to improve your character. That VC needs to be spent, which a lot of the time the transaction won't go through, plus they'll change your guy to look like an ugly mofo.

I can't play offline modes. Cheesers or not, I know that there are sim players out there and I would much rather surround myself with guys like that who can make changes based on my play calling on the fly. Meanwhile a good slider set works every so often until you find certain plays that work in certain situations. Then your playcall tendency starts favoring the same handful of plays.

That's easily my biggest complaint with this game.

When the servers are down, I can't play my offline franchise. That's just ridiculous.

Unfortunately, that is the future of gaming.
