Yeah, it's really fun (and depressing) seeing Lee and his little band of survivors falling apart as the game goes on.
That's what pretty much happens in every zombie story but it works so effectively here because you feel like their fate was in your hands.
For example, you feel like Carly's senseless death is because *you* made a bad decision somewhere along the way or trusted the wrong person.
Player agency is what separates video games from other forms of story telling, and the power of that is on full display with TWD.
