I would list them all but I have played too many, the Halloween to Christmas events in MMOs were so great! I miss them because I don't play them anymore, not that they aren't offered.

The SO is tired of hearing about how I first logged into City of Heroes and WoW for the first time during their 1st holiday events.

Doing the stupid event activities with your group on TS or Vent. Made the holidays feel even more special. I have huge MMO withdrawels during the holidays. Tonight I just watched youtube videos of old holiday events. Crazy you posted this very thing.

I remember that first Halloween in EQ. Giant skellies and a timed name skellie spawn in Qeynos Hills and they had special loot (which was still fairly worthless). It was like magic.

It wasn't until EQ2 that I saw a truly epic Christmas package.

Holidays were always fun in DCUO, although the holiday quests never changed the cities were festively decorated and the art team did a good job cranking out themed costumes and base furnishings.

ESO's Halloween event was fun (you get a boiling cauldron to drink from, the drink turns you into a robed skeleton and you get a big exp boost, lasts 2 hours and is renewable throughout the event) but not that expansive. There was a new outfit to get and some new mounts/pets but I was really hoping for a suite of quests.

Looking forward to see what ESO does for Christmas.

Nothing will ever top the haunting of kithicor in EQ. It was a genius event that turned a useless zone into one of legends. So many rumors and stories for years to come from that zone.

Running the wall and hoping nothing spotted you was real fear. Nothing like ruining your night with a corpse retrieval
