Just a tip for those who are starting off fresh for MLB The Show.. To help catch up faster, I would HIGHLY suggest that you up the pitch speed to around 7 or 8. This sounds stupid and absolutely crazy, but if you can train your eye to read curve balls, or sliders at a higher pitch speed, when we start Online Franchise and the pitch speed is at a default of 5 or 6, those pitches will become much easier to read. It's sort of like starting off in a FPS. If you play on the highest sensitivity, you are going to suck shite. However, after playing like that for a handful of games, you can lower your sensitivity and absolutely destroy people.
