What? Games usually take 30-45.

What will minor league rosters look like? That will not be drafted right? Will they just be on their regular minor league team?

It all varies. If you're playing a guy who will take and is patient at the plate, and you're the same way...yea it may take a while. If y'all are both up there just hacking you may have 5 pitch innings. I think there will be a combination of the two so we'll have about 45-50 minute games.

And I'm pretty sure we're drafting everyone. At least I hope so, I want to draft my own minor leaguers

oh.one of the developers during a gameplay session with hunter pence and puig said games take that loong; which is why they made quick count.

Well I've had games against the computer on '13 where I just go swinging and my innings are QUICK. But the other night I sat there and focused on every pitch...it literally lasted an hour and 45 minutes. I mean if both users are just pounding the strike zone, its gonna be quick.

Yeah just depends but he was mostly overstating to hype the feature.

I've never had an online game take an hour.

And yeah there's the amateur drafts in franchise.

Damn the draft is going to take all night. I would like to draft my minor leaguers though.

I'm pessimistic about the league. Just don't see how it will be able to move along and every play and draft and get this done in a timely manner to keep things interesting enough. I hope I'm wrong.

I'll probably auto draft the minors, maybe the first few rounds myself.

I think this will be the best online league over any other sports game, baseball offers a lot more IMO.

I agree. We may hit a few bumps here and there but i think everyone is excited and committed enough that this will work

The #1 thing that kills online leagues is communication. As long as people communicate their availability everything should be fine. There will be times I'm sure we may have to advance a little later than a week, but overall 6 games in a week is doable. Honestly you need like 2 nights free per week and knock out a series.

And f y'all, I'm drafting every one of my damn players, all the way to single A ball

I'm not gonna be able to get on my PS4 until thursday because of finals, but how do we get into the franchise? Do we get an invite or is there some kind of password to get in?

How many games a week are we planning on playing? Anymore than 2 or 3 won't be possible for me between work and "being a husband".

Yea, see this is what I was talking about earlier. Originally (somewhere in this long thread), we said we wanted to play a week of games every week and advance. But 6-7 user-user games is a lot. Especially if at the best case scenario they take only 40 minutes. That's still 2 hours for a 3-game series.

I think people will just need to be patient because some people (like myself because I have almost all of the summer off) will be able to get games out of the way early, and some users make take a week maybe even 10 days or longer to finish. I just hope people don't get bored or annoyed with that.

The only other option is to say if you can't handle the amount of games to get out the league, but I don't think we want to kick anyone out.

well if you don't think you can even be remotely close to the game window, save evryone the trouble and just leave. not trying to be a dick, but I'd hate to have one or two people only play half the games. that will kill the fun.

No, I totally agree. I was just saying I don't think we want to get to the point where we are forced to be like "Hey, GTFO." But yea, I don't have a life during summer except for vacays. But when I'm in town MLB The Show '14 is top 2 or 3 on the list of things to do everyday. I can almost bet that the franchise will be #1 many days...I'm not ashamed to admit it

Me either. I'm watching streams right now of people with the game already and I'm hard. The Marlin's stadium looks stunning.

Well I have a 2 month old, a full time job and am married yet have no issue getting my games in. I wouldn't have married my wife and started a family with her if she didn't respect my gaming time. Whoever stated the wife thing, find her a hobby lol

I wish she would find a boyfriend.

I'm more curious rather than concerned about the schedule. I don't think anyone has mentioned it and if they did, I missed it.
