Still buggy as hell on release day. I'm just glad that I didn't have to pay for it.

That's the only reason why they didn't get my $$$. Even if the game play is buggy, I could easily get $60 worth of enjoyment from a good franchise mode without ever touching the field.

Yard mode cornerback AI is ridiculous. People are just playing in the middle and letting the AI guard user WRs. It's pretty trash to go against

Once you get the upgrades on Julio and M Thomas its easier to get deep balls and contested catches.
The Yard is fun. Love the non seriousness of it. It's just arcade fun

Played every Madden since like 2008
2018-2020 took a big step down gameplay wise, but this year I feel like it's improved a bit
The Yard may be one of the best gamemodes EA has ever added to a game. Hours of fun with friends
Still wish they updated franchise a bit more but it still feels good. Probably the best Madden since Madden 25 imo.

Only thing that has bugged me was in the little Ravens-Chiefs matchup they have you play, Lamar feels nerfed speed-wise, especially compared to Tyreke Hill.

What's wrong with the box art? There are legit things to complain about with the game but I don't think box art is one of them.

I didn't buy Madden from 2007 - 2016 because of how bad it had become. I bought Madden 17 and it was worse than 06. Madden blows.
