Madden 17 Cheating

How bad is the cheating online? I just recently started playing against others online and I will drive on them for a couple of scores then suddenly can't do a single thing effective the rest of the game and the game is glitchy on top of that...

You just suck
Madden claimed to fix the HB stretch cheese. But no matter what I do, their running back breaks a tackle or two in the back field and runs it for 75 yards just about every single time.

Apparently you do.
How are you determining that you don't suck? Because you can beat the computer?
I haven't played much this year but every year there is cheese that people love to exploit, but if you're good there's always a way to counter. And cheesing isn't cheating by the way although I don't condone it.

apparently I don't...I have played lots of people that I know head to head and some I win some I lose, some I lose badly but the games run smoothly...
I go head to head against random people and some games I win some I lose, games run smoothly...
Then there are some games that are running smoothly, I score, then suddenly the game starts getting glitchy and the other person can do nothing wrong, and I can't do a single thing and I have read online about cheats that are being used that will cause the game to get glitchy by the other person to gain advantages...
Now does that answer your question? I just came on here to get others knowledge of this...not to be attacked...

That's Madden breaux. It's the same in all EA sports games. It's far worse in FIFA, IMO. Nothing like having a 0-0 game deep into the 60th minute with both teams playing tight D all game long. Then one team scores to go up 1-0, and wouldn't ya know the other team dribbles right down the field to seamlessly tie the game up at 1-1. It's how EA games are built. They rarely allow one team to dominate an entire game without the momentum drastically changing to help the losing team. Does it happen sometimes? Sure. But for the most part the AI is built to keep games close. No way around it.
As for lobby games, I quit playing those years ago. It's just a cheese fest. Watch the Madden Championships, which I refuse to, but the one I watched was a complete cheese fest. It's encouraged in Madden, and it's only getting worse. Find a good sim league on OperationSports and leave the lobby bums behind.

I can't stand playing madden online, so much BS goes down in that game.
But it is fun when you win a close game and get to rub it in

You just wanted somebody to agree with you, don't lie.

The cheese isn't even "bad" this year by maddens standards.

The worst I've ever seen it is on NFL Blitz for the N64
Anyone who's played that game knows exactly what I'm talking about

Lol so many fumbles when you begin to take a big league

I guess that's why they have a button that makes you cover the ball with both arms when you carry it.
I rarely use it, but I'm gonna need to get in the habit of doing it since I'm starting to see they put it in the game for a reason

Yep. You're chances of fumbling go WAYYYY down. Also if you have a big lead or just an lead really late into the game, dive to the ground before taking a hit. Only noobs OP run around into hit sticks or strips.

The equalizer is real. EA claims there is no equalizer, but they are full of shite. It happens when I get up by 21 points or more, and all of the sudden, my opponent's routes are magically open, my HB suddenly has fumbleitis, the same cover 3 defense that my opponent has been running all game suddenly covers the curl routes.
It's real.
Now, if you're talking about glitchy plays or nano blitzes, they all have a counter, and if you're a good player, you figure it out and dot their arse up.

Link? Or are you just talking out of your arse.
There are all kinds of shifts that can be made within a play. You can run a Cover 3 Match every play but adjust the coverage to play the flats, play inside, play outside, etc.,
It's called adjustments, not "equalizers".

I know for a fact that there is rubberbanding in FIFA. A guy on OS dug into the game's coding and found it. There's a thread on OS about it.
Can only assume it's the same for Madden.

That would be all well and good if not for the other things I mentioned.
And the average Madden player who goes down by 28 points doesn't know how to adjust cover 3 match to stop bunch verticals with a motioned receiver. Or how to adjust Tampa 2 to cover a Z route.
