I initially wanted 1300 for it when I thought about it this afternoon (I knew that's what the component cost added up to) but seeing as they video card is about 8 months old and the CPU is 3 or 4, it would obviously have to be reduced.

I was thinking 15% down from the price the components are selling for now. 1308x.15= 196 so the negotiating price would be around 1100

I'll even sign the case if you want me to. That adds at least a couple of bucks or something. And I can throw on some canes stickers

Or he could buy the same used parts off of Amazon and eBay for 30% off.

Just saying that's high for used parts IMO.

No way I would do that vs finding some sales deals or cruising Amazon Warehouse for used parts.

Agreed. I'd pay that much new, but used I'd say $800-$1000 is a fair price range.

$900 or so would be about right IMO.

Anything more than that for used parts is too much.

what it looks like, but the cable management is better since I took this picture.

I forgot to mention, the only blemish on this pc is in the top right hand corner, where the panel fits into those grooves. One of the grooves is bent and makes the panel door stick out just a little at the front of the computer. It's hardly noticeable but thought I would add that

When he buys it, disassemble the computer and send him each component individually.

ahh forgot about that in the picture. I've flipped it since then it only has a bottom but when I first installed it (back in January or something like that) I put it on backwards.
