My oldest son has a switch he got a coupon years ago. We just bought my youngest a switch for his birthday. I’m trying to get his setup with being able to play games we already purchased for his brother. How do I do this?

Both switches are linked to my account but I can’t see the games from my oldests switch.

I believe the only way to do this is if the primary account on one switch purchased all of the games, then you can download them under the same account on the second switch. If your account was not the primary account on either switch, but you purchased the games under your account, I don't think you can download the games to both switches. You would need to make your account the primary account on at least one of the consoles.

This is correct, and it's a completely stupid system, especially in a world where they have the family connection to things like switch online.

For my wife to be able to play anything from my library on her switch, she has to use my login profile on her switch, and then it lets her play those games. If I turn my switch on and it registers my profile, it logs her out of whatever she's doing, immediately.

I have a similar question. I bought a switch lite to take with me while I'm working on the road. Assuming switch 2 is backwards compatible can I download them on a second device or can they only be on one device at once?
