Any tips for getting killstreaks?
Seems like I can never get more than 5 or 6 kills in a row without giving up my position and being noob tubed or knifed...

if you can average 5 kills before you die. try using..
5-Predator Missile
7-Harrier Strike
9-Pave Low
as kill streaks

Set your first streak at Predator missile so you get the easy kill, then have your second at harrier, all you have to do is run somewhere hide and let it go to work. It can usually get you to a chopper gunner, but I like to have it set on pave low. Make sure you stay someplace safe but not for to long. I have about 5 or 6 spots I like to be in each level, I get a few kills in one spot and then move on to the next. Always use a Silencer on an Assualt rifle and your good to go.

Do you use a silencer on your assault rifle even if your perks aren't set for stealth?

Yep I use a Scar with a Silencer most of the time
Scavenger
Stopping Power
Ninja/Commando
Scavenger because the Scar doesn't carry much ammo, Stopping Power because its comforting to me, and either Commando or Ninja.
Hardly anybody has the UAV as their killstreak set, and you can blow up drone planes so cold blooded is pretty much useless except for avoiding airsupport.
So the Silencer lets you fire away and people have no idea where its comming from unless you are in their immediate area. I never go without a silencer it seems to make the guns more accurate too. And it shows that it hurts range but their isn't a level in the game where I can't hit a guy from across the map with my silenced Scar, ACR, M16
The biggest thing is to move, but move cautiously, people who run around all willy nilly get a lot of kills but they die a lot too. If you camp you are only going to get two or three kills before someone gets pissed and starts coming for you. So take a spot get a kill or two and go camp someplace else get a kill or two and move someplace else. When you change spots make sure your old spot is still in your sights because chances are one of the people you previously killed is going to come looking for you.

Thanks for the tips guys. I just had a career game.
I really thought that the silencer would reduce the power of the SCAR, but i dont think thats true. If anything it makes it more accurate.
I tried the new killstreaks also, and so far ive only gotten to the harrier strike, but the pavelow is comming soon

Let your killstreaks do the work for you.
Care packages don't add to kill counts, so avoid those.
