Probably the hardest boss in the Souls series for me.
I'm not 100% sure though, I may have had to attempt friede more times.
I feel like Midir would be the most difficult boss on subsequent playthroughs though.
Slave Knight Gael is a difficult boss no doubt, but didn't have much trouble with him because I felt like he was a more traditional boss that the game had already prepared you for.

Made it up to anri & Horace bonfire on my sorcerer.
Windows are small but I can do a lot of damage. Made a fire scimitar and raw rapier for melee.

changes progression enemy/bonfire/item placements, adds/shuffles bosses, restores cut enemies/content, adds quests and world events, etc. One example of a new event is the Siege of Anor Londo, apparently the darkwraiths lead an assault on it and you ally with the Silver Knights to fight them off.
Everything I've read says its basically a brand new game and captures the sense of wonder on a first Souls playthrough. I don't have DSR on PC, I'll have to snatch it when it's on sale
Another girl on a DS shitposting group im in is working on a DS3 mod that looks pretty awesome. You and Abyss Watchers vs Sif + Artorius, fight Fume and Velstadt at the same time, all kinds of crazy stuff

I read about that mod but held off on installing until they got it fixed for DSR. I'll have to check it out.

Want to go on record to say the cut scene between phases 1 and 2 where her father loses it....probably one of the more creepier things I've seen in this game.

Crystal heavy soul arrow.
Atleast in PvP. That + Homing Crystal projectiles to stagger and you basically 1 shot everyone.

Yeah, but he was pretty useless. Was a good distraction for phase 2, but usually died right at the beginning of 3.
