I didn't know Fallon was a gamer. He was being a total fanboy about the Switch and having Miyamoto in the audience.

Hard to tell because of the angle, but the world did look more detailed when stationed.
They've said all of the hardware for the device is in the tablet. However, maybe it will go into a power saving mode when undocked to conserve battery life. Or the resolution of the tablet screen is lower than what it will output to a TV.

I think I like it enough as is, but I would love to see (in order of preference):
Solid 3rd Party Support
Near X1 power
Gamecube/N64 Emulation
Good storage
Slick and Fast Interface
Old Franchise Made New - F-Zero, Metroid, StarTropics, something unique
Mobile App Store (Netflix, Amazon, etc.)
I would love it to be the only mobile device I travel with, but that isn't a deal breaker for me.
I trust Nintendo to put out their first party games. If it ends up like the Wii U I'd be disappointed, but satisfied (I've still played that more than my X1). If it can bring back 3rd Party Support and sell like the Wii, we're in for a treat.

Big gamer. He normally has the newest things on his show, like kinect when it was coming out i believe. Wouldn't have been surprised to see PSVR on there.

The rumor is that the dock contains a fan and removes need to maintain battery which allows it to display in 1080 as opposed to 720 on the tablet.

I don't believe that at all honestly 
Fallon is a big gamer. He had No Man Sky on a long time ago and that turned out great...
I don't see myself getting a switch right now but there is always potential they could sell me on it.

He had Nicole Kidman on his show about a year ago, and she told the audience of how they first met a few years back when she was invited to his apartment in NYC.
She said Jimmy basically ignored her the entire time she was there and played video games instead.

Wow. That has to be the most embarrassing thing to ever be said about anyone. Unless she's into video games, why would you put a video game on with a hot chick in your house? Then again, as a famous person, I'm sure Fallon has hot chicks at his house often.
