Jedi Survivor Spoiler thread: Full game spoilers

Was alright, I feel like I enjoyed the story of 1 better. Dagan was wasted in how badass he couldve been, and Bode was predictable and annoying. I take it his daughter will eventually be able to use the force as well.

Wish it was like Red Dead in a way where your in game actions can determine the outcome of the game.

The more bad you do, the more in the Darkside you can grow in. Learning force lightning and etc.

Sounds like I'd just like another force unleashed game as well.

I also need to do a full replay to really get the deeper lore implications with the high republic and stuff better as well which im about to do in NG plus on grandmaster although I did get all 10 perk slots and a ton of upgrades.

You can only use the red lightsaber on ng plus? Thats lame I wanted to clean up a few things first. Also the perk that increases both player and enemy damage for ng plus sounds fun.

Cere certainly didnt feel like a lesser warrior
She mowed people the frick down. It took me like 5 tries to beat Vader on the second hardest difficulty. All deaths were in phase 3 so I had to do the first 2 easy ones again each time. I have a feeling on grandmaster he will use his unbelievably powerful unblockable attack a lot more in phase three where he does something like Melanias waterfowl.

Yeah I agree. Honestly I thought when the cutscene transition to phase 3 happens after he gets rubble dropped on him hed emerge and kill her so it would only be a take him to half health fight. I think it was a 10% left though.

Has anyone come anywhere even remotely close to beating the double rancor arena fight?

Just finished. Overall I think it was an improvement over Fallen Order. I give it an 8.5 or 9/10.

I just have never liked Cere even in the first game. Her death didn’t really have an emotional impact on me. I know she was a Jedi master but there’s no way in my opinion she should have come that close to beating Vader.

I really liked the Cal and Merrin romance. Also thought the twist with Bode was solid. I didn’t see it coming at all. Greez is still my favorite side character.

Awesome game and awesome job by the developers. Like I said, the game’s biggest issue for me is Cere. And also how they seemingly completely wasted Dagan. A high republic jedi who is still alive, bleeds a crystal and becomes evil? That’s amazing. I wish they wouldn’t have cut his story so short. It feels like he could have stuck around and been developed way more than he was

Ditto. I could see Bode being the traitor a mile away, but I definitely never saw the jedi part coming.

Just imagine how powerful Cal and Merrin's kids would be if they ended up force sensitive...

That fight gave me fits. I had rounds where dodge outright didn't happen. One time he started out with phase 3 attacks right from the beginning

It’s also a total gimmick fight with the way it’s coded. I never picked this up at all on my first run through but fricking around on grandmaster on my way through the second time I noticed there’s very very very strictly coded triggers to get him to do exactly what you want him to do and the best way to kill him is your bait out his most devastating grab attack back step out of range and strike 3 times. I enjoyed the story implications of the fight, it’s fallout on the rest of our cast, ceres sacrifice basically everything about it. The mechanics surrounding the fight and how they don’t give you any sort of outline of Ceres moveset like they have on the pause screen for Cal make it the absolute worst boss fight in the game though.

If you can’t pull off the move baiting above like I suggested the second easiest way to kill him is to be hyper aggressive like one of those giant claw swinging things on Jedha. Strike 2-3 times parry parry parry strike strike strike and never ever give him a moment to breath. You have to have lightning quick reflexes for this though because if you don’t keep the pressure enough or if you can’t triggger him into one of the mash square QTEs he will grab you and killl you
