I remember back in the olden days when we had to run around the maps to get where we wanted to go. Now these hoodlems are just flying all over the place. Those were the glory days I tell yeah.
But for real. It is stale. The flying all over the place takes away they enjoyment of a fps. The ability to survive in situation where you would be dead otherwise because of the packs is annoying. I would be more understanding if there were bigger maps but CoD is just to CQB for that mess.
My advice would be....If CoD wishes to keep that aspect of the game then they need to open up the maps a bit. They don't have to go BF with it. Maybe titan fall esq in size.

agreed
Maps are a bit tight for this stuff at times.

Another issue I have with the Battlefield series is the ability as an engineer to repair the tank while it's in motion. I think that is such a simple oversight that they could have addressed. It turns the tanks into god mode essentially
actually, in BF1 the only way to repair a tank is to spawn in from the "respawn screen" as the tank driver. And while repairing, you cannot move the tank or fire any of the weapons.
not to mention they have slightly nerfed all the tanks since the BETA.

quote:I can live with that. My post was really just a rant because I dislike the game THAT much. My biggest critique would be what you guys already touched on, the maps being too tight. These maps aren't suited for the aerial robotic style that COD has now evidently become. The "lemonade" map is really the only one I've enjoyed of the four they released. The other three, especially the space station, are way too tight and it's just not fun to me. I'm strictly a HC S&D guy, so maybe once the full game is released and that mode is included my opinion will change. But for just TDM and KC, I can't bring myself to enjoy this game for what it is...I'm not a fan of the rigs either. It's not AS BAD as the character choosing in BLOPS3, but it's the same concept and I'm just not a fan. I don't like the whole "common" "rare" key buying experience. I spent 30 keys on a "rare" chest the other day, got 1 rare calling card and 2 common items. That's stupid, and a waste of playing time that it took to earn those "keys".
This is the kind of critique that is pointless because you're not offering any substance behind it, which probably means it's just preference.
