Is upgrading to XBOX One S worth it?

I do most my gaming on PS4 and use my XBONE as my primary streaming box for apps I don't have on my Samsung 4K. Like Watch ESPN, NBC Sports, FOX Sports Go etc. Is there much of a difference with these apps from the first gen XBOX One.
We just got an LG 4K to put in the living room while I move the Samsung to the man cave. The LG doesn't have HBOgo, showtime etc so when those apps go 4K the One S would make sense. I thought about waiting for the Scorpio but that price point is a bit much.

No Scorpio price has been announced yet.
Outside of being able to play 4k Blurays, there is no meaningful upgrade for the X1 S over the original Xbox One.

I have a regular Xbox One and I just got a 4K TV. If Scorpio is a decent price I'm defintley upgrading.

If the rumors of $600 + are true

Gotcha, so no UHD upscale like PS4 then.
I did read no more power brick and they are now dual voltage.

I don't see that happening. That would be really shooting themselves in the foot.

I heard rumors of $500. I'm content with my One S.

I upgraded to the One s when I got my Samsung ku8500 and i have played gears of war and whitcher 3 on the One s and the original One and there is a big difference to me.

That's because you got a new TV

Yeah, the new model is more power efficient and slimmer. I just wouldn't upgrade unless you really want a 4K Bluray player.
As for Scorpio price, I"d like to think that MS knows that $600 HW will flop. I imagine the One S will drop to $300 and Scorpio will launch at $500. Just my thoughts.

But what I'm saying is I played the original One on the new tv and the One s on the new tv and the One s looked better.

Placebo. Games are running at the exact same resolution. The only thing you might have noticed is a more stable framerate on certain games. But even MS's PR stated that it wouldn't be noticeable on most games.

Probably true. Is there any solid info out on the Scorpio that is worth getting ecxcited about?

There are some good bundles for less than 300 out there.
I have no need for a 4 bluray player. So basically I should just sit and wait. I was really hoping for UHD upscale like on the regular PS4.

I wont make any purchase until E3.
I really wish the PS4 pro would go down in price. A Pro and Scorpio would be

Sounds like you'd just be better off getting a Roku Premiere ($70), Premiere+ ($100), or Ultra ($130).
