Blockbuster let's you rent consoles. Try there.
But seriously, how would you even access the games if you had one? Do you have physical copies to borrow from friends or were going to rent those too?

Those are kind of time consuming games.
I’m sure you can find a deal somewhere. I’m sure you can track down an older model if that’s all you want to play.

Just buy a cheep used one. After you’re finished with your games, you can use it on a nonsmart tv to get Netflix/Hulu/all that stuff

One other thing to consider, the PS5 due out later this year is widely expected to be backwards compatible with PS4, so that might be a better option if you wanted a next gen system as well, just a thought.

Honestly, Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. You can get one and games for 150-200.
Other than that, go to gamestop or some other game store. They aren’t expensive anymore, especially used

I grabbed a 1TB one on eBay for $150 last week. Give that a shot.

I've seen playstations below $100 scrolling fb marketplace.
That's completely barebones though with no games/controllers

Aarons, seriously. Why should you not have the best tv and gaming console even if you cant afford it?
