I can't fathom the amount of hours I've put into Skyrim and for the first time ever I'm finally trying to finish the main quest after over a decade of dicking around.

Is Starfield going to be similar in this regard, where you can just be in the galaxy and interact as you see fit?

The Toddfather has said that's a good comparison

Probably even more so. For example, Todd has specifically said that of the thousand planets, about 10% of them have life, and that even the fully procedurally generated ones will have hand crafted points of interest added. I think the goal is to let people get lost in the universe. We'll see if they pull it off.

I might try to jump in front of a city bus so I can get a nice settlement. Then I can just sit back and play Starfield till that money runs out.

Going off Xbox’s track record since they collapsed during the 360 generation and somehow stole defeat from the jaws of victory losing to the ps3, statistically speaking it likely won’t work well if at all. The cash shop will be 100% functional from the time the beta hits the store though you can book that. After about 2 years which is how much more time they likely know they need to develop it properly for the supposed more powerful console yet can’t run shite and hasn’t shown to be half capable of what the ps5 puts out, they will have it running optimally and the game will likely be quite good at that point. Enjoy

As much as I joke about Xbox being a massive failure (they are it isn’t debatable) I honestly hope this game is amazing. If it truly delivers on its lofty promise I will buy an Xbox to play it

Meh more like caveat as massive failure as it pertains to their only real competitor Sony. But I think I understand what you mean and yea I post in hyperbole sometimes lol

Hardly. Even tho, even tho there will be some holdouts, it won't be a massive failure.

There will be some of us very unhappy about the lack of DLSS, it isn't gonna cause it to be a failure tho.

Is it shite posting if I proffer my honest opinions and often add things like data analysis to support them? I am not under the impression all of my opinions are correct and would welcome someone engaging in turning me from them alas that never happens. shite posting is maliciously posting things you believe arent true to be incendiary.

Is it shite posting when I offer advice to players on how to get the best loadout and overcome the sudden difficulty spike in ff16 out of no where? Or when I simply talk about how I loved Nier automata, and offer the OP who is new to the game what I found and others on places youll find agree to be some of the best weapon loadouts? How about when I simply give some CoD campaign recommendations when asked? Am I "shite posting" if so then the entire thread is so which is it?

The obvious answer to all of this is of course not. I am not blind or dumb though and there are times I legit provoke those who seem to make it their mission to stalk me because I find it hilarious especially because even with this random bouts of legit shite posting I proffer more legit advice and value to, certainly to JRPG related threads, then any of them do.

The answer to all of this is of course no im not shite posting 95% of the time most just dont like the blunt way I tell them stuff

On a serious note: You need to chill. You've explained 42420482 ways to own a game. Nobody cares. You're owning yourself. Once you figure that out, you'll be OK.

Dude its a fricking gaming message board. And you clearly deflect the plentiful examples of me acting just like any other member of this board because it doesnt fit your narrative. Are you a progressive leftist? That is their only move in the playbook so my sense are tingling.

Also the people might care who get to a point they are struggling with teh game and find a recommendation from someone who has become very good at it. Sue me I am not going to lie and say I suck. There are plenty games I absolutely blow at. If I ever feel like I need your permission to post on the gaming board recommending my favorite Cod Campaigns or certain quirks in Nier ill make sure to seek you out first.
