Is now a bad time to buy a PS4 or XB1?

Thinking of a graduation gift and don't want something that'll be obsolete in a year.

No. Basically just an upgrade. Pointless unless you have a 4k TV and all that jazz. same with the ps4 pro or whatever it's called. Just hardware upgrades.

No.. Scorpio is an entirely different system. Plays the same games and everything, just more powerful.
But like I said. Xbox has shite for exclusives. Ps4 is the way to go. Last of us, horizon zero dawn, red dead, the show, etc.

Watched some YouTube videos on some of the gameplay, apparently there will be a large native American influence more so in this game, and that involves weapons too.
Its a prequel and you're not John Marston but they have his voice actor working on the game. So maybe a former associate |

I've heard (with a grain of salt) that you'll be playing as a young Marston and his gang.
But that was right after the reveal and I haven't looked into it anymore so I'm sure you're more correct than I am

Red dead is not an exclusive to the PlayStation. Also it has been confirmed that the Scorpio will benefit people without 4k displays. And if you wanna talk exclusives. Let's talk PS4 vs PC.

As a new owner of the PS4 I still don't get the hostility between the two crowds, hell I would own an XBone if they had games that I couldn't get on PC. I much prefer my PC but The Last of Us was an awesome story, and I am enjoying Zero Dawn.

I've owned both but at the moment PS4 clearly has the upper hand which I why I recently bought the PS4.
I bought it for the same reason as you. Last of Us and a lull in the PC release schedule for games I like.
