Is Cyberpunk 2077 Ever Going to Come Out?

This game has been in development since 2012.
I've heard awesome things about what they plan to do, but at some point you just have to ask,"Is it ever going to come out?"
And will it be worth the wait?
ETA: I've been waiting on this game my entire life, or at least since I started playing the tabletop game over twenty years ago.

It wasn't in full development in 2012. It probably wasn't in full development until after Blood & Wine released.
I'd expect it to be a 2020/2021 game which is fine. There are enough games that come out each year that I'm okay with waiting because making games of Witcher quality takes time.

Reportedly there are about twice as many people working on CP 2077 as worked on the Witcher. This game is going to be massive and possibly set the industry standard.
I think 2020/21 is way too far out.

Given how huge and detailed Witcher 3 was, I can totally understand why it's taking so long.
It's probably going to be one of the biggest and most detailed games ever.
Fans bitch when a game comes out and is super buggy and broken and needs multiple patches to fix it. "OMG why did they release this before it was ready"
