I havent seen a better war game since Battlefield Vietnam

Before the times of running around like a headless chicken spraying bullets, you had actual strategy, large maps, and real teamwork.

That and 1942 were amazing games.
The only downside to Vietnam were the jets. They were just too fast for the map size.
It was much easier to fly WW2 planes in 1942.
Loved the gameplay otherwise.

Yeah I avoided jets for that reason.
Sniping in the jungles was great too. Many places to hide and you could go minutes without seeing another player.

Loved this game. Throwing a spider hole up in the bushes and just running over the flag with manpower was awesome.

I spent my entire time becoming a better chopper pilot so that I could do this
i was dog shite at the actual game but I was a damn fine pilot. I still have positive memories of blaring music and hauling arse at tree level. Idk if there will be a game as much fan as Battlefield Vietnam. It was so great.
