The Meta score on this one isn't great but I watched a guy stream it the other day and I will buy it when it goes on sale

Oops...it's published by Sega but made by an indie dev. I assumed it was purely an indie game.

Indie works for certain genres. Pretty much every single 4X/RTS/TBS indie game I've played have been awful.

Fez and Braid are both excellent.

Who has played Terraria? I have been thinking about it as well.

have heard good things about terrarria
i still have Trine2
and Adams Venture in my que to play
one day... one day.
and Monaco is frickin legit. Its topdown so you may not like it which i understand but for a $15 indie game it brings a whole new co-op experience

One of my most played games right now is Braid. It is freaking super addictive.

I know Stout likes to zoom out in his top down games

FTL is a great indie game as well as both of the Orc's must die games. Although my son and I both love Torchlight 2. It is what Diablo 3 should have been instead of that always online abortion Blizzard put out. And I absolutley cannot forget Bastion. Holy sh*t that game was awesome, I swear if they made a movie about my life I want that guy that narrates that game to do my inner monologue.

Terraria is mine craft but with combat that is actually fun and enjoyable. Obviously, you can't create as many complex things because its in 2D, but still better IMO.

Terraria has an actual armor and weapons progression, as well as many other items with awesome functions.
There is less emphasis on building, and way more emphasis in exploring.
IMO it is more fun than minecraft, although it has less replay value because there is a more definitive end.

What about Primordia? That seemed like a good story, any experience?

Primordia is next on my list to play, as well as Resonance.
Check on Gemini Rue. One of my favorite indie games ever, alone with To The Moon.
