How long does it tend to take to get to the Majors in RTTS 14?

Playing on PS4. Do I need to get to a certain overall?

my SS got called up as a backup in the spring training of year 2 to the Os.
Overall was around 81, but JJ Hardy is shitty, so that helps.

I got there at the very end of year one, with slightly beneficial adjusted sliders.

I don't believe there is a set timetable. It just sort of depends on depth of the organization at your position and potential injuries. I've done seasons where I didn't get called up until my 3rd year as a starting pitcher, and i've been called up from AA after two weeks because of injuries.

depends on how good you are. I got the call up the week after the all-star break in my first year.
1st baseman with the nationals
mid to high 70s on contact, power, vision, and the other hitting stats. mid 70s in speed.. suck at baserunning though
also when you are setting the desired team before the draft, look for a team with holes.
I started with Giants because i thought i could quickly make it to majors at first... i got traded to nationals and that kindof went down the drain, luckily their starter had been performing well below expectations the entire season.

Since I knew nothing about the teams going in, I picked the Orioles. My player is a Starting Pitcher for the Baysox right now. Overall is in the 50s or something, I'm only like 15 played games in. So I guess I'm not a true starter, but you know what I mean.
ETA: But performance wise I'm doing good I think. 101 innings played, 101 SO, 1.51 ERA. 10-1 record. Started 14 games. I have walked 38 batters though.

Depends, how latin is your player? Are you able to readily get forged immigration documents?
Speaking of, why isn't thus part of the game?

if we pick the Astros, do we start off in Houston?

I passed up my first draft spot and went to a university. Got picked 1st overall as a SP second time around.. got called up around the all-star break 1st year.. Depends on the depth on who selects you.

This is me, but they traded for Pujols early in the season and he was tearing shite up.
Went to Spring Training with the Nats as a backup and he sucked so I been there since then.

got called up between may and june of my first year. 2nd base/shortstop for the padres. my value dropped when i got there, but it's on the incline now that i'm in my second year. i'm ranked 4th in all star votes with 2 1/2 weeks left til the all star break. i hope i get picked.
