How does everyone on this board have a 1.50+ K/D ratio?

Most of ya'll say shite like this. I was at .98 yesterday and touched 1.00 briefly and it brought a tear to my eye. 
For once in my life, I was average.
I don't understand how there are no shitty players on this board, if I'm wrong, please raise your hand and post your K/D if you arent too ashamed.

I'm only a .68 K/D ration.
But I sucked at the get go. I was like .51 ten days ago.

I'm only 1.17 or so. i was at 1.20 but i've been playing a lot of hc.

1.6something, alot of people here are able to seem my stats and play with me often
i consistently go 20-5, 30-10, etc
eta: if i would stop playing domination and hq, i would prob be in the twos, i can play whole matches in a row with only one or two deaths

After the first week I was at .4. I hadn't play any COD games for about 8 months, and was quite rusty.
2 weeks later I'm up to a .89. I have about 1500 kills and 1750 deaths. Looking to get over a 1 k/d after finals.

Now that I'm learning the maps and getting decent guns my K/D ratio is climbing...Up to 1.24 right now, was between 1.9 and 2.1 on COD4.

but how does everyone's ratio seem to be climbing?
wouldnt the MW2 gaming world be getting better, learning the maps, just as quickly as you are?
how do you get ahead of the curve?
ETA: I guess I'm going to have to go with the less sex/ more gaming routine that most of you are partaking in.

I finally figured out that playing ground war kills your ratio.
