Mine gives me shite all the time. Mainly because i am always screaming at the game or people on the mic. I use to be bad about playing games and not spending time with her. Now I mainly play when she's sleeping or outside talking on the phone. It's amazing how many games you can get in during one of her phone spree's.

On topic, My wife doesn't hate me playing, but would rather me go to bed with her some nights. Sometimes, she'll take work home and work in the room...that gives me time. Other times, I'll just play and hear about it anyway. Lately, I haven't been playing, but I've been doing other things. To her, its all the same...I'm not there.

she's usually cool about it when I play after she falls asleep. she gets pretty heated when I wake her up cussing at some of the shite that happens (i.e. screen shows me shooting guy in head, but I'm the one that gets killed, etc)

This thread is awesome. Good to hear I AM NOT ALONE on this.

My wife has spurts where she doesn't care then other times when she would prob smash the PS3 with a bat if I didn't guard it. I get the common complaint of you never come to bed when I do.

If I am not getting sex whats the point of hearing you snore when I can play for a few hours. That comment usually gets my on the couch

My wife is fine with it as long as I play when she goes to sleep or if she's not home. And she's been ok with me going to bed later then her. We even bought these headphones for the TV for when she sleeps, I won't disturb her.
