Man first few tI'm es I ran into the snapmaw's I handled them easily. Now these things keep kicking my arse. Was at the calderon with a snapmaw in it and died three times before deciding to set about 9 traps and put myself into a death box. Finally beat them
Also saw my first thunderjaw the other daw in the desert to meridian. Promptly ran up the canyon and noped my way around it. Wayyyyyyy to underequiped at this point (riding the basic rope caster and a carja bow) to try and take that thing on.

Finished all the hunter's lodge challenges last night. The last two were a bitch.
On the last one where you have to shoot the Thunderjaw's guns off and kill the ravagers, I died immediately after completing it.
I'm slowly making my way through the quests. I didn't realize that there are tutorial quests. I haven't done any of those and have a backlog of about 20. That's some leveling right there that I'm missing out on.
The last time I fought one, I got the shite kicked out of me.
Wait until you meet Stormbirds for the first time.

I was trying to go get a metal flower near a stormbird area on the north part of the map, but I got absolutely destroyed. The freaking electric field it puts out while it is walking towards you is a bitch move. I have the Lodge Ropecaster now so he is gonna get rocked next time.

Patch 1.10 notes
ADDITIONS
Added the ability to press and hold [X] to buy multiple items from merchants.
Added an option to invert the X-axis from the controls tab on the settings menu.
ADJUSTMENTS
Made several minor adjustments to the item economy (drop rate, distribution, cost etc.).
Made several adjustments to humanoid and machine AI.
Made minor adjustments to 2.1 stereo mix on menu sounds.
FIXES
Not gonna list them all, but a long list of bugs, glitches, and quest goofs were addressed.
LINK, not Zelda

Right now there are 4 glinthawks at the top of a butte and there is a metal flower up there. I've died twice so far.

And for glinthawks, use fire arrows. It'll bring them down.

Yeah I normally can take them down pretty easily, just the butte was small and offered little maneuverability. I decided to get them to follow me down where I had range to move. On the top of that rock I was a fish in a barrel for them
I found what you were saying earlier about a metal flower near a storm bird site... Staying away for now.

I just bought this and haven't put it down. Haven't even opened my Switch yet because of it.

I really hope they dig deep into the various themes in future installments. It has potential.
When I'm done with Zelda and Nioh, I wanna do a run using the weakest weapons and fewest skill upgrades possible.

I'm level 43 and I've only gotten to Maker's End.
I'm trying to collect all the collectibles. Have two view sites and 4 flowers left. Then it's two more cauldrons, a little more exploring, and then the main quest line.

That's how I feel like I will play it, not rushing. I can tell this will be one of those games I never want to end.

I made the mistake of starting zelda in the middle of horizon.
I'm stuck not knowing which to play. I should just finish HZD because 1/2 way through BUT I cant put Zelda down and its just convenient to play portable.

I'm about halfway through the main story, but I have so much more to finish beforehand. I kinda want to knock the rest of the side stuff out first.

Have all collectibles, completed all corruption zones, and all cauldrons. I have one more vantage point and I'm done with those.
