I am level 23 right now and i tried heading east towards Meridian into the fogged out part of the map. The constant onslaught of Machines pissed me off so i bought the maps to the metal flowers and vantage points and whatnot and am now just grinding out those and leveling up by killing machines along the way.
oh and frick those birds!

I got to Meridian yesterday and picked up a bunch of new quests. I'm kinda doing the same thing. Just working my way around the map collecting items and finding places.
The birds suck. Stalkers can be a bitch, but they are very sensitive to electricity. I haven't fought a thunderjaw yet. Those look scary.
I'm working on the hunter's lodge quest when I get home. Need to kill three more sawtooths and another ravager.

Ok I won't lie I dropped difficulty from second hardest to easy just to get past the cauldron with the T. rex type one. It was still a pain in the arse.

That third trial on the hunting challenge in the northern part of the desert can drink Thunderjaw jizz
Kill two Ravagers using the Thunderjaw's disc gun. Took me about a dozen tries on very hard. I found a guide on Youtube, but that tool was using the ancient armor so it was useless. I ragequit a couple times, then kept loading it back up

I did the quest to kill the rockcrusher and he was the first enemy that really made me realize how important tearing off certain body parts is. Keeping him from digging made him easy.

Most hard fights can be neutralized with the shadow ropecaster

Persona 5 is completely done. An IGN guy has already platinumed the English version. It could come out tomorrow but my guess is the April 4 release date is just to have a bit of room between it and horizon and Zelda and mass effect. It won't be delayed again.

I beat Redmaw today, just kept my distance and double shot the open panels on the sides of him. Took him down in a little over 5 minutes.
Loving the game. I'm lvl 29 now, and just grinding with side quests and errands.

I did this quest last night and i didnt even think to do that
I just used freeze and it took a lot of damage with arrows while frozen, but that took forever
