I wouldn't say greatest, but certainly my GOTY last year. Picked it up again recently in between other games I'm playing and it's still a lot of fun. Love the story so much.

Funny little tidbit about HZD.
Panic Button does a lot ridiculous ports to the Switch such as the recent Bethesda titles, Crash etc. all the shite that pretty much was console exclusive and went multiplat.
Kotaku interviewed them and asked them what their dream port (as far as difficulty went) and they said Horizon Zero Dawn
I need to get my hands on that joker somehow. Maybe I’ll pirate it.

The game is awesome but something about the world feels taxing.

I just beat TLoU. Now im playing bloodborne...im thinking horizon next...maybe Nier....frick xbox. Ill never go back.

But seriously, I really enjoyed HZD and its DLC (I just completed it a few weeks ago) but something about it didn't completely click with me for some reason. I can't even pinpoint what it was, though. The human combat was certainly a weak point, but the fights against robots more than made up for it. I found the resource gathering and inventory constraints to be really annoying and thought pretty much all of the outfits looked dumb...but fit the world, admittedly.
I enjoyed the sci-fi story probably the most but the story climax was much better than what the gameplay crescendoed to.
I don't know. I didn't love it and I'm not sure exactly why. I'm still thinking on it.

Last of Us, Nier, and Bloodborne were the holy triumvirate of exclusives. I say “were” since Nier ended up getting released on Xbox

I thought it was gonna be another overrated open world fest for the first 10 hours or so. I suggest playing main story first because it’s 100% the best part of the game and makes you see things differently

I wouldn’t even consider it an exclusive to begin with.
Nier started out on PC as well. It wasn’t a strictly PlayStation exclusive like Spider-Man and GoW.

I loved everyone but her.
The world is so great. Never finished it because Harvey came flood my Pro. I have it downloaded on my new Pro but idk if i'll jump back into the game.
Maybe because I watched hours on hours about the story. Which should be made into a movie IMO. Now I purchased the DLC but never started a second of it.
Its much much more enjoyable than RDR2. But like RDR2 it felt taxing but in a different way.
What happens in the DLC? Is the black dude really a IRL PoS? Add spoilers if you respond.

Will not, the DLC is as great as the game, you need to play it.

Tell you one thing PS+ is a life saver. Good luck my Switch was home in Louisiana and not in Texas with my Pro.
Having all your game saves backed up online is such a huge thing. I pay for PS+ just for the backed up online saves. Damn Nintendo forces you to pay for Nintendo Online if you ever want to back up a 240hrs BotW game.
