I'm getting fatigued on battle royale and sports games, and kind of burned out on online gaming in general for now and want to immerse myself in a story, or at least some fun individual gameplay.

Most of these I've collected for free over the years with Xbox Live Games with Gold, a couple were in bundle deals that were too good to pass up, but they are all games I never got around to playing.

- Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Origins

- Borderlands 1,2, and 3

- Castlevania: Lord's of Shadow 1 and 2

- Fable Anniversary

- Far Cry 2

- Hitman (2016)

- Lego Star Wars 2

- Life is Strange

- Portal: Still Alive

- Resident Evil Revelations 2

- Star Wars Battlefront

- Tekken 6

- Toy Story 3 (actually looks pretty fun )

Is this an alternate name for the first game?

Portal: Still Alive is the port of the original Portal game on Xbox 360. It was exclusively released on Xbox Live Arcade on October 22, 2008. It contains the original story of Portal developed by Valve, 14 new bonus test chambers modified from the Portal: The Flash Version MapPack created by We Create Stuff, and 9 new achievements (12 total). There are no additional story-related levels.

Borderlands is definitely where I was already leaning.

I've heard the story for Life is Strange is really good, but I haven't played many games like that so I'm not 100% sure what to expect. Is it very involved or is there much skill needed?

Lego Star Wars is high up the list too ,of course

Played it a few years ago but from what I remember no, not much skill. Those Telltale-like games never do. Great game though and I would definitely recommend it.

Just played through all the missions in Hitman 2016 twice and even though I got Hitman 2 Im still going back to some of those from 2016 bc the game is almost endlessly replayable. There are so many possibilities to completing your objectives and each level is pretty large and fun to explore. If you ve never played any Hitman games def give it a try. If you were a fan and turned off by Absolution it's an awesome return to form.
