chicken my advice is to pretend you never came to this board. im pretty sure in the history of this site, the gaming board hasn't gotten this much traffic so from an add revenue standpoint you should just let it be. alot of the guys play every night and come back and talk about the night, give each other shite while sitting at work. like i said just keep watching the number of page hits and dont really worry how or why (well until someone has some good pron that they leave up on the board for a couple of hours)

I say to allow us one thread per day to talk shite and friendly banter back and forth as black stated

I haven't seen any posts on this board that aren't gaming related in some shape or form. That said, I agree that there are some great threads on here that are pushed down and neglected because of all the MW2 small talk.
There's just too much "I just went 25-0 on Rust and dropped t3h nook".
I mean really, just because someone has a good game, it doesn't make it new thread worthy. Make a MW2 bragging sticky or something.
So yeah, that's my only issue. Too many quality gaming posts are being pushed down because of bragging. MW2 isn't even that good.

kind of like how there is a Daily Reds Thread on the MSB. I think you need an admin that deals mostly with the gaming board and makes sure that the MW2 small talk doesn't get out of hand.

keep the off-topic discussions off of here. Also, we need to discuss ways to clean this board up since it seems to have gotten a little messy, especially with the IM-ing inside threads.

The TOTD were a great idea, IMO. Cleaned up most of the mess. It's our equivalent to a good morning thread, or LNST, DRT, TDBL, etc. Every board has that daily discussion thread for certain people.
I do agree hijacking is a problem is most threads. This is an issue that needs to be addressed.
