Has CS:GO gone to the "arcade" style of FPS?

watching Doc play a few matches and it seems like it's come along way from FPS Doug....
or was it always an arcade shooter?

I just checked, he's MG1. That's pretty bad. CSGO is still incredibly difficult to play well

I played in some open tournaments against FPL-C teams and it's unreal how fast they can kill you
