Has anyone here played Greedfall?

I downloaded it to knock out some Xbox Game Pass quests to get some Microsoft Reward Points so I can redeem them for a Chuck E. Cheese gift card. That pizza is the shite. Unfortunately they don’t let adults in by themselves. I’ll have to ask someone to get it for me.
Anyways, I completed the game pass quest in 30 minutes. The movement is a bit clunky, but the quests seem to be pretty unique with a wide range of endings for each.
For those of you who played it, is it worth playing in full?

My friend played it all the way through. Said it had some cool stuff but overall was mediocre. I guess it depends if you have a backlog or not.

I tried it out since it was free last month with PS plus.
I made it about 5-6 hours and deleted it. Like you said, it was clunky. Very clunky. It just didn’t pull me in like I was hoping.
I typically like games like this.

I bought it at launch. The battle system is fun and challenging and the story is good but the settings killed it for me. All the towns look exactly the same as do all of the buildings. Theyre exact cookie cut from eachother and are very empty and void of NPCs. You can tell the devs hearts were in the right place but they didnt have much money and went cheap on that end. I made it about 7-10 hours before i dropped it

Yeah, it definitely seems like it would’ve been a great game if it had Rockstar, ProJect, or Bethesda money. It’s a shame because those first several missions are a lot of fun and really give you the option for 2-3 endings in each of them.

played a couple of hours and just couldnt get into it. interface and map navigation is clunky as shite.

I just got it for PC the other day on sale, and so far it's been fun.
The issues are there, but the story is interesting and the voice acting is pretty good. The combat system isn't bad.
Haven't checked to see if it's modded in any way yet.

I got it on sale during Black Friday 2 or 3 years ago. I enjoyed the game overall. The cities do get old, but I enjoyed the story and the combat.

They did a good job considering what they had to work with.
It plays like a Bioware game straight out of 2009, so if that's your thing then you will appreciate at least one playthough.

I bought it a while back from hearing everyone giving it props but I couldn't even get a few hours in without the jankiness killing it for me

Did you get it on PC or console? Only jankiness I've gotten is from the characters doing that weird momentum-stopper thing that is prevalent in a lot of games.
