I think the elite is well worth the money, especially when you start fine tuning the sticks. However, I would only ever buy them from best buy and get the warranty on it so you can turn it in every two years for a new one.

I feel like BTB in INFINITE is too much. They need to call it warzone or whatever they did in H5 and then make and 8v8 BTB. Afraid they already mad the maps too big though.

Finally got around to installing this last night. Feels damn good. Maybe less floaty than original Halo but it is on point.

They need to work on some of the battle pass progression and spartan customization type stuff (which can easily be updated or changed) but the core gameplay is fantastic.

Still worth every penny, and I believe it was $50 or so when I got one a few months back. Regardless, by far the best way to purchase these.

Every damn time. I agree with you on that.
It took me about 6-8 matches to get comfortable again. It was a definite reminder I have played in about 10-15 years. It’s damn fun though. Can’t wait for the full release.

No radar and BR start weapon should be for Slayer Pro and SWAT only

Yea. I’m just not a fan of Br starts. Everyone just keeps it and spams with it and it’s frustrating playing the sweats that scope you across map with it. Even when when it’s PC sweats with the BR.
75% accuracy shouldn’t happen but some dude wrecked it against me with that.
The weapon variety is still lame. The Heatwave is the only serviceable shotgun right now and pro tip, use it in its vertical mode for a quick two shot kill if you use it correctly.
I personally am taking to the AR/pistol combo when it’s available. I wish I started with the AR instead.
I’ve gotten a lot better now and can get into the 20s on kill counts but still stuck on Silver 6. Takes so much longer to progress these low ranks than H5.
I think they’ve maybe increased slayer occurrence. I’ve gotten several in a row and probably 70% slayer right now.
Oddball still sucks.

AR? Gross.
You can tell who used to be a hardcore Halo bro based on what weapon starts they like for sure. I feel naked without a BR start, the AR is way too random and the pistol is bad outside of close/medium close range.
What they really need is more ranked modes so people that don’t like the old MLG settings can still go get a rank without running into the super competitive people.

I always preferred the AR because I played a lot of Rumble Pit, I think the AR in Infinite feels weak though. The BR is legit and I think it feels pretty close to the BR from Halo 2

The AR is vastly superior to all prior iterations. It’s an extremely serviceable weapon now particularly as it can headshot.
The pistol is quick and good for finishes.
And no I wasn’t hardcore. I only ever played early halo games split screen with friends. I didn’t get into online play until H5 where I was Magnum and power weapon combo.

Notice how he's only doing it against bots? Doubleshot in this game is tough to pull off and the weapons aren't very sticky, so you'd probably miss anyway. Those bots just stand still for you.

Many of these maps are just way too big 4v4 especially for Slayer. I’m talking the urban Iraq style map. It’s like overgrowth but more annoying.

It's actually quite easy to pull off with a tiny bit of practice. Lot of people using it with the Rockets to shoot two at once. Don't really need to aim much.
