Halo 3 Start Over

My friend played on my Halo 3 game a LONG time ago and he was really good...I just played for the first time in months and i was getting owned badly...is there any way I can just start over so i can be myself and play against competition thats around my talent level?

Just play social slayer. I haven't played in months and my cousin and I played on Halloween and had no problems winning. Social matches are a good way to get back into the game.

It ends up being a way to cheat though..because you're far better than your rating and you're going to crush the people you play against. Just like killing your teammates in order to de-level back down.
