I don't play games nearly as much as i used to. I used to have GTA V on 360, but never got it for the One. I'm wondering, what is the recs between the 2? I see both have "Live" or online games now, what does this mean nowadays? Does that mean co-op, or is is simply a way to update the games with new missions more quickly? Last "long" game like this i played was Skyrim.

I’m still playing GTAV online. I loved RDR2’s story and single player, but never fired up multiplayer. From my friends that did, they said it sucked.

Red Dead 2 is one of the greatest games ever made. You could literally play its single player game mode for eternity. I never got much into the multiplayer, but the single player is the most immersive game I've played, and loaded with things to do outside of the main story line.

agree. GTA single player story is decent but it has nothing on RDR.

RDR online is boring and pretty much dead while GTA online has been thriving for the last 7 years.

Yup. Agree w/ everything here. I loved everything about the RDR2 single player. After enough time passes I'll jump back in and play another run through.

Not sure what GTAV premium is, but if it comes with the base game then it has online play.

How does rdr2 compare to the original? I bought RDR a few months ago for a few bucks. Entertained me for a minute.

It’s the prequel to RDR

Very deep and immersive story line

I’m about to start it again once my PS5 gets here

They’re both amazing. Great story. Fun gameplay. Slow pacing at times but for me it fits the setting
