Most of the races I am doing are set at night with no way to change it which is a huge bummer

Console wheel support is universally awful and really only works 3-4 games. It’s so absurd that fanatic has the exclusive license for the WRC wheel, yet it’s incompatible with EA’s WRC. It will work with GT7, but only for a few cars since it doesn’t have a keypad.

One thing I never hear is someone saying Mexico is a prettier landscape than Japan. Everyone I’ve known that has seen Japan says it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world and has some of the prettiest beaches.

Put in several hours over this rainy weekend. Really enjoying getting lost in the game for a bit. Also really like the what’s next recommendations if you just want to dive into racing and keep the campaign moving. Haven’t used auto drive, personally I just feel that takes away from the fun of the game and scenes. Really want to work on building out my garage but just haven’t put any time into that side of the game yet.

I didnt think id enjoy it as much but the music helps. I only played one multiplayer match and had no idea how it works. I just ask opera ai or chatgpt to give me the meta cars and tunes. Got a couple 3-5 mil cars from spins. Getting somewhat repetitive and my map is a cluster frick after getting the orange band.

Downloaded this Saturday night. I havent played a proper racing game since GT3 a-spec back in like 2003. Im having fun.

Going from Above Average difficulty to Highly Skilled is like going from Rookie to All Madden. Sheeesh

Highly skilled they tend to kick your arse from the line and then fall off a bit toward the end.... but yea i just drop it if i beed to win something specific for seasonal events or something.
My only gripes about the game are
-Not being able to toggle traction control. Particularly for online. I cant transition from AWD cross country races with TC off into a street race where I need to use a RWD car. Trying to race RWD competitively with no traction control is impossible, and most cars have a button that toggles it.
-Not being able to double bind my brake/reverse. I moved it from S to my up key so I can brake without taking my finger away from the gas, but itd be nice to just have it as a secondary or be able to add a mouse button as well.
-Not being able to edit the music list. I like the rock station best.. but GD they always pick th3 annoying songs for races.

I can't really get used to the feel of driving yet. And I keep missing check points and it costing me races getting reset.
I haven't figured out custom tuning yet either. So I am always either stopping completely going into a turn or slamming the outer wall on a sharp turn.
But to be fair I spend most of my time in free roam and designing Liveries in the garage.

you probably know this, but you can always purchase other people's tunes, "Find Tuning Setups". If I keep getting my arse handed to me, I just google the race type "Best car for FH6 Hot Hatches" and plug in whatever share code they suggest, check it out, and buy it. Although, some of those tunes are soo good that I just obliterate the AI drivers.
