NickMercs was a Gears pro a while back and it oddly translates to fortnite for him because he’s probably got the best shotgun shot regardless of platform. He’s also gotten a lot better at building, which is kind of insane considering he still uses the default settings and uses triangle to one-way shuffle through his inventory.

oh yeah definitely. He even calls the burst the "Hammer burst" lol. He's a great guy. Ive been watching him since Black Ops 3 tourneys with Nio and Ampz. He was always an average COD player. Happy to see he's found his place in fortnite

So playing on wifi with 3 Mbps and a tv is much different than wired 300 Mbps and gaming monitor.

Got another solo squad W today. I'm in the junkyard with 3 squads left. All out war breaks out with me in the middle hiding. I run into a building and find an opened chest with an untouched bush. I put it on and sit. These dudes are all fighting and dying. Once the shooting starts to die down, I sneak over a hill. I see a structure and look through a crack to see a guy picking up his homies. Headshot him with the bolt. Get into a fight with the last guy. Pump tac him for the W.
What's funny is that I was just trying to knock out challenges before leaving for the baseball game. Got all my chests and ducks and was fixing to jump off the cliff to leave for the game, then I was like nah let's see what happens. I didn’t even bother picking up a gun for the first storm since I was just getting the challenges. I go to Gus to get the treasure and 2 airdrops come. First one drops a gold semi sniper. Another guy comes for the 2nd one, I snipe him, and swap the semi for his blue bolt. 2nd crate drops a gold SCAR. All I needed lmao

Went on a tear in a game today. 6 kills dropping tilted. In effect, I looted the entire area. Run around and the 4th/5th circles end up on a mountain north of Pleasant. Kill 1 with scar. Snipe 2 more of 7 left. 2 more kill each other to leave 3 total. I hit the better player of us 3 with a single sniper shot but didn't kill him. He was a much more advanced builder than me and I totally went brain dead when he started building towards me. 9 kills and I just cratered to the pressure of a very good builder. I'm getting better at building but I'm just not where some of these guys are.

happens every now and then. they box you in and shite and you just blank out lmao. i just got 3rd in a tight solo game where the last 6 people were all excellent. some really good duels that i shouldnt have survived (one guy boogied me and i avoided his shots the whole time before 1 pumping him with 2hp left. kept having close calls and finally got dusted by a guy when i ran out of heals. oh well

I'm still experiencing tremendous weapon lag when switching to shotgun after building. had a 4 minute fight in tilted yesterday with some pussy just spam building walls and enclosures to keep from dying and never running out of mats. storm ended up killing us both.
Dropped lonely once and wind up in a pistol fight. I do 24, 24, headshot 48. guy wins and lives with 4HP. I watch replay and I guess he had a blue pistol and did 25, 25, headshot 50. FML
