Most stressful solo win I've had. We're all in a house as the storm is closing and there's a guy in a fort above us with an RPG. I mine my way out and get surprised by a guy outside. Land a jumpshot and escape with 4hp, then clap the last guy once he relocates

You got so lucky with that solo win. All he had to do is edit his floors and look down to see you. You also got lucky that you didn't need those floors to block that RPG.

What is y'alls strategy for getting to the next circle? I usually land, get my initial load out, if it's good and I see someone I'll take them on. If all I get is a grey pistol or something I'll try to sneak out. But 90% of the time I get killed running to get inside the next circle. Should I all out sprint? Go early and crouch and be stealthy? Build a fort in each circle? I have 26 top 5 finishes so I can camp in bushes and make it to the top 5 but I'm trying to get a win.

I feel like Tilted has set the game back a bit. The pace is crap during the mid-game now.

Where are you landing? I've seen a few times on youtube videos that streamers say "Am I going to play for the win or get some content?" I drop in on semi desolate places and grab at least an AR and some materials. After that, I rotate along the outer edge of the circles and make sure that I have enough time to get to the next circle.

Got 3-4 squad wins with randoms. One I was just a filler for a 3stack. The others was maybe 2-3 in mic with the guy off mic landing somewhere on the other side of the map.

Yeah that's my method. Actually just got second place (again). I just really suck at building. I think I just hit a really unlucky streak of about 6 games where I had to sprint across the map to beat the storm and got ambushed

Just work on building. It really makes the game easier when you can build quickly. I’ve killed so many people who are just looking at their blueprint while I’m firing at them.
I’d recommend starting away from everything and practice building for a few matches. Even a wall and some stairs behind it can swing a fight in your favor quickly.
Also turn on reset building material in settings. Doing that makes it easier because you will always start off with the walls instead of wherever you left off during last build attempt

Ah. That reset is good advice. I'm always fumbling around trying to make sure I have a wall or something.

Does anyone else like the silenced pistol a lot? Seems like the rare's are pretty plentiful and it's accurate as hell.

I haven't been this glued to a game since COD4. Absolute favorite spot in the game for me is the unnamed warehouse area NE of Flush Factory.
My favorite strategy right now is to land straight onto a shrine and get the quick chests and move from there. I don't find nearly as many people hit the shrines like they did the Christmas trees in the other season.

dude we loot that place so fast it's not even funny. We were playing squad the other night and one of our buddies wasn't paying attention and jumped out of the bus late.
